Abalyn® is a very slightly woody cedar molecule. Its smell is weak with little volume. It has a high viscosity. This molecule is mainly used as a solvent in functional perfumery.
Natural availability :
Abalyn® can be obtained from Abietic acid, which is itself a distillation waste of turpentine EO. It is therefore possible to find this molecule in its natural state. however, its synthetic form is generally prioritized for economical reasons.
