Anisyl nitrile si recommended to be used in trace amounts, as a substitute for heliotropin (regulatory) or tonka beans (price). However, caution is advised because of its powerfull impact, mainly the cumin-like facet resulting from the nitrogen atom in its molecular structure.
It may be useful for enhancing floral compositions (carnation, lilac, mimosa, or hawthorn for exemple).
