Synthesis route :
Suederal LT® is a base reproducing the smell of suede and leather. It is made of hydrogenated rosinic and resinic acids methyl esters. This ingredient is obtained on an hemisynthetic way, by reacting a natural extract with a synthetic molecule (here, methanol). Methyl Hexadecanoate is also found in this base. This last compound is purely synthetic.
